Back at the figure.

Tomorrow is the 20th, have not drawn the figure in a month, well with any concentration. It will be good to get back at it. I have the renewed energy of January and its so friggin' cold out there, what better way to clear the cobwebs, dig deeper in the anatomy and look for the surprises?

Just spent an hour looking at the works of Francesca Woodman. What a photographer, what an artist, what a tragedy. I think her works will touch people for many years to come. If I was in San Francisco I would be off to the SFMOMA.

pepper and a pear

All I drew today was a pepper. And a pear. But I have not blogged in a long time and thought, "better get back at it."
